Reviews for Nostalgia KRS-2100 Keg-O-Rator Refrigerated Beverage Keg Dispenser (Kitchen) I offered this at Fry's Electronics. It was on sale at the finish of the summer, and was once an impulse purchase... A complete piece of rubbish, this firm will have to be embarassed! The regulator is affordable, and does now not work at all. There is no strategy to control the go with the flow with it.
The C02 tank is held in with an enormous rubber band (Actually, an O-ring) that broke the first time I took the tank out. I took it out as a end result of 1/3 of the means via the first keg, the tank was once empty... That's how dangerous it leaked... It came with a full bag of "extra" seals and gaskets, and 1 of 2 of them do no longer exist on this product... I do not know what they're for...
A actual kegerator will have a C02 shutoff... This one does no longer. A actual regulator can have two gauges, one for tank drive and the opposite for line drive... This "Toy" has just one, and it can be the most affordable gauge I assume I precisely have ever considered...
The first beer out of the keg was once enjoyable... Until we realized that even became to max cold, the beer was strategy too warm... There are some dialogues of this factor on the web where folks have modified it in order that it's going to get less heat... I had no longer gotten round to trying it yet, for the explanation that summer season used to be over and it wasn't a real precedence any further...
Then the merchandise end working solely. Completely useless. I even have it installed in our guest/pool home, and I had been available in the market a few times however never realized it wasn't operating any longer.
Reviews for Nostalgia KRS-2100 Keg-O-Rator Refrigerated Beverage Keg Dispenser (Kitchen) I ordered this item on September 14th. Didn't get delivered except October 4th. Way out of the time range that used to be initially given. Product knowledge made it seem that every one you could probably want to do is supply the Keg and get the CO2 tank filled. WAY OFF. The "regulator" that includes the Kegerator doesn't keep watch over ANYTHING its merely an off on switch for the CO2. After spending 2 days wasting beer I took it to my native tavern and confirmed what I already idea. So I needed to drive to my native Beer Supply store and spend a further $50 for an precise regulator.
